hg 1999A new vintage for an amazing champagne.The very complex nose shows aromas of Butter, Toasted Brioche, Yeast and refined notes of Alba Truffle, Honey and subtle spices like Cinnamon.The wine is Rich, Intense and Oily. It has big minerality, vibrant acidity and express flavours of Vanilla, Ripe White Peach and Apricot. Its creamy texture has a clear full body and a very long length. I recommend 10 to 12 degrees of temperature and pour it in red wine glasses. A dish prepared with Foie Gras or Truffle will be a favourite.
